Becoming a Regional Tea Distributor: What a Factory-Direct Partnership Looks Like

What a factory-direct tea distribution partnership covers: categories, capacity, documents and marketing support.

A factory-direct distribution partnership is worth signing only if three questions get answers up front: what exactly you can sell, what stands behind supply, and what support arrives with the product. Our regional agent program is open and recruiting, covering RTD fruit teas, tea extracts and Phoenix Dancong, with an 84-item catalog, two factories and a certification pack behind it. Here is what the partnership looks like in practice.

What You Can Distribute

The regional agent program covers RTD fruit teas, and agency discussions also extend to tea extracts and Phoenix Dancong - the category where the group's origin position is strongest. Beyond the headline categories, the full catalog of 84 items across seven series - black tea, black tea powder, Dancong, green, scented, oolong and specialty - is the range you can build a regional assortment from. The series break down into 11 black tea powder grades, 20 black teas, 12 Dancong items, 9 green teas, 9 scented teas, 20 oolongs and 3 specialty items, so an assortment can be assembled from stocked lines rather than made-to-order development for every SKU.

What Stands Behind Supply

Yuanjin Industry Group was founded in 2007 and operates two tea factories. The Chaozhou plant, adjacent to Phoenix Mountain, runs at 24 tons per day and 8,000 tons per year, and holds the No.1 Phoenix Dancong output in Chaozhou; the Guangzhou plant adds 3,000 tons per year, focused on imported black teas. Combined output is nearly 11,000 tons per year.
Supply depth comes from sourcing as much as from production lines: more than 100 tea materials, an inventory above 1,000 tons and more than 10 global tea bases, plus our own Tianfengshan and Pingkengtou Dancong gardens. The group holds the China Geographical Indication protected product mark for Phoenix Dancong (枞) Tea, certificate no. 9245102MADJPXJ99Q, under announcement 2025 No.660.

The Documents That Travel With the Product

The certification pack is part of the offer, not an afterthought: ISO 22000:2018 food safety management certification no. 001FSMS2400758, issued by CQC and valid until 10 October 2027; HACCP system certification held alongside; halal certification to GSO 2055-1:2015, issued by SHC for the Middle East market; US FDA facility registration no. 10319209992 with DUNS 450984434, valid through 31 December 2026 - a facility registration, not a product approval; and China export food producer registration.

Support Beyond the Product

Factory-direct pricing and marketing support are the standing terms of the agent program. In practice that means product sheets and sensory profiles for the range, copies of the certification pack for your channel partners, launch materials for the categories you take on, and professional packaging design support when a program needs its own look. Complete factory qualifications also make the pack traceable and import-capable, which shortens the review your channel partners and customs brokers run. Regional arrangements are defined per market in the agency agreement, so protection and terms are written down before you invest.

Who the Program Suits

The program fits regional distributors adding a beverage category, agents building an RTD or extract portfolio, and tea traders who want factory-direct Dancong with documents that clear import review. If your channel is hospitality, the same catalog backs hotel guest-room tea bag programs in Ceylon black, jasmine and green. Sample sets and application recipes are available before any regional commitment, so you can test demand through your own channels first.
